antique, vintage DR SA Tuttle – Boston MA medicine bottles – 1890's. These bottles are aqua green, blown in a mold, and have 12 sides. All are in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. Embossed on the front reads, "DR. S.A. TUTTLE-BOSTON, MASS.". The bottles have a smooth base, and stand about 6 1/8" tall.These are the "DR. SA TUTTLE" bottles not the "TUTTLE Elixir" bottles.The advertisement in the last photo is NOT included in sale – shown to give you some of the history. Samuel A. Tuttle was the proprietor. He moved from stable owner in 1883 to medicine manufacturer in 1885. The Tuttle Elixir Co. was established in 1894. A 1885 Boston directory lists Samuel A. Tuttle's Elixir being located at 1072 Washington, with his home at Hyde Park.

Tuttle's Elixir Co. Boston Mass. bottle with screw cap 1910-20. The Tuttle's Elixir was praised by vets and horse owners alike and the company was very successful from 1849-1968. Liniment "good for beast and man". Tuttle's Elixir Co./ Boston, Mass. is embossed on two of the 12 panels of the bottle.

Measures 6.25 inches tall x 1.75 inches wide

There appears to be residue inside the bottle and the cap is rusted but easily comes off. Otherwise the condition is good vintage
